Run Away With Us: Elopements and Wedding Photography

There's something romantic about putting aside all of the pomp and circumstance of your wedding day and just running away together. It certainly makes the choice between pearl and ivory linens at your wedding reception a lot simpler. And maybe you don't need to have a hundred guests, but what you will need are the memories that will last a lifetime.

Traditional New England wedding photography packages aren't the right fit for an elopement, however. The average wedding in Boston costs upwards of $26,000 and contains hundreds of different pieces from the guests to the dress; it's a day filled with rituals and events that doesn't stop until the last person has left the dance floor. Elopements are quicker, often just a simple ceremony in front of a few witnesses with maybe a few special touches.

Ryan Richardson Photography offers the perfect solution for your intimate New England wedding, just book a portrait session. Starting at $300, a portrait session is a great way to capture those moments and memories and get a few beautiful images.  You can even take advantage of one of our destination sessions if you want to leave Boston behind for something more exciting and exotic.

Once the ceremony is over, we can treat you to a short bridal session where we'll create some breathtaking and beautiful images without the pressure of a wedding looming over everyone's heads to get things over faster.

After your wedding, you'll receive a link to an online gallery full of beautiful images available a la carte (or as part of a portrait package). There are of course some restrictions during peak wedding season, so if you're planning on an elopement get in touch with us for more details.

So forget about blurry cellphone pictures, it's still your wedding after all and you should enjoy brilliant and bold wedding photography.
