Q: Do you offer boudoir photography sessions in Boston, Cape Cod, and Rhode Island?
A: Yes! Most of my sessions take place in my private Pawtucket, Rhode Island boudoir studio, just minutes from Providence and an easy drive from Boston. But boudoir doesn’t have to stay in one space — I love exploring unique studios, cozy hotels, and creative locations across Boston, Cape Cod, and New England to tell your story in a way that feels authentically you.
Q: Do I have to be a bride to book a boudoir session, or is it open to everyone?
A: Boudoir is for everyone. You don’t need to be a bride — or even in a relationship. I work with women, men, and non-binary clients across Massachusetts and Rhode Island who want to celebrate milestones, boost their confidence, or simply treat themselves. Boudoir is about self-love first.
Q: What should I wear to a boudoir session in your Rhode Island studio?
A: You don’t have to stick to lace or lingerie. The best outfit is whatever makes you feel powerful, confident, and cool. Clients bring everything from oversized sweaters to leather jackets to classic lingerie sets. I recommend arriving in loose, comfy clothes to avoid marks and indents on your skin. Q: How much does a boudoir photographer in Massachusetts or Rhode Island cost?
A: Boudoir is an investment in yourself. Most of my clients spend around $2,000 between the session fee and products like albums or framed prints. If you’re looking for a smaller step in, I occasionally offer mini boudoir sessions in Boston and Rhode Island that are a great way to experience it.
Q: I’m nervous — how do you help people feel comfortable during boudoir photography?
A: That’s the most common question! From your first email, I’ll walk you through everything with a guide that sets you up for success. On the day of your shoot, we’ll build the vibe with a great playlist and start with relaxed poses to help you ease in. Many clients bring a trusted friend for extra support and hype. My goal is always to make your Boston or Rhode Island boudoir session empowering and fun.
Q: Do you photograph boudoir for all body types, ages, and genders?
A: Everyone deserves to feel great about themselves and their bodies - whether you want to be sexy, sensual, or silly about it. We’ll focus on the things that you love about yourself and make them shine through the lens.
Q: Can I gift a boudoir album to my partner on my wedding day?
A: Boudoir can be a great wedding gift for a partner, especially if you’ve decided not to see each other the night before the wedding. If you’re gifting a full album, I’d recommend leading with a tease during the morning and then reveal it when you’ve left the reception and finally have some alone time.
Q: Do you offer couples boudoir sessions in Boston or Rhode Island?
A: A session together can be a really unique experience to celebrate and commemorate your love. We’ve added them as a spicy twist to the end of an engagement or wedding session for couples that are feeling a little more daring. We’ve also done group events for bachelorette parties when the squad wants something different from a spa day.
Q: Is hair and makeup included in boudoir packages, or should I book separately?
A: Most of my clients choose to book their stylist separately, though I do have more comprehensive packages that include working with fabulous artists that will make you look incredible. If you don’t have a HMUA in mind, I’m happy to recommend a few as well. You’re also going to be responsible for your own wardrobe.
Q: What products do you offer for boudoir (albums, framed prints, keepsakes)?
A: If you don’t have a killer album from your boudoir session, did it really happen? Prints definitely make things feel a lot more real, getting to hold all those goddess moments in your hands is something else. To make this happen we offer a range of albums, print collections (my favorite is the matted portfolio box), and wall art for everyone that’s feeling really bold about themselves.
