Maine Wedding: Jill and Ian

As the cars drove along the winding Maine roads to Acadia National Park in Maine, the world was still shrouded in clouds and fog. The rain from the night before made all the colors on the ground look so saturated and almost more than real. It was a trip that Ian and his family had made for decades, but now the place they had shared would take on a more special meaning. The wedding was small, 15 family and friends gathered to celebrate their marriage in the great cathedral of nature.

It was a beautiful day for a wedding (and wedding photography) with a brilliant blue sky hanging over the ceremony before the rain came along. That day in September, as the leaves were just starting to turn was a wonderful reminder of what a pleasure it is to be a New England wedding photographer.
