The Love of a Lifetime

For 15 years Ryan Richardson Photography has been helping couples tell part of their love stories through the medium of wedding photography and this year we’re expanding on that to help couples tell their whole love story with the Love of a Lifetime project. From the story of how you met to the little things that have kept love alive, we’re looking to work with couples that have been together for at least 10 years to share their stories in a multimedia documentary project.

We have three steps to the project: a pre-interview, the on-camera interview, and then a couple’s photo shoot. After the project is completed you’ll receive a teaser trailer of the mini-documentary, the completed mini-documentary, and images from the couple’s session.

Pre-Interview

We begin with a questionnaire to help understand the journey you have taken as a couple and help you focus your thoughts. Following that we will set up a virtual meeting to add some polish, ask follow-up questions, and get ready for the next steps.

Interview

The core of the project will be an on-camera interview where you will share your story and what you’ve learned along the way. The interview can take place at your home or even somewhere meaningful to your relationship.

Romance Session

The capstone of the project is a couple’s romance session, a photoshoot about exploring your love and connection. Some ideas for the shoot might include recreating your first date or the night of your proposal.
