Referrals, Redefined - Boston Wedding Photography
It’s been a wild few years at Ryan Richardson Photography with some big shakeups in the wedding industry since we’ve started, and more than ever the most important component in staying successful as your favorite Boston wedding photographer is a network of happy clients that are excited about sharing their experiences with us among family and friends.
To that end, we’re revisiting and revising a few aspects of our business that have been underdeveloped that will make it a lot easier to keep clients a lot more excited long after the wedding day.
Referrals:
This is about striking the right balance between generating enthusiasm and outright bribery. We want people to feel like a referral to Ryan Richardson Photography is like being given a VIP invitation to a really great party. To that end, our referral program (starting on Nov. 1, 2022) will have two parts.
New Clients referred to Ryan Richardson Photography by our past clients will receive $250 off any regularly priced wedding package.
After they’ve booked, you’ll receive a $125 print credit with Ryan Richardson Photography. You can gift it to the couple or you can keep it for yourself for our second announcement…
Client for Life:
This little benefit has been with Ryan Richardson Photography for a long time, but it’s not something we’ve really done a lot to remind people about it. With our client for life program, we offer past clients a free portrait session they can take advantage of every year after their wedding, whether they want to have a delayed post-wedding shoot, something for the holiday card, or family photos (really the only time we do family photos outside of our mini-sessions).
For 2023 we want to get a little better about reminding clients to join us for another shoot, and to do that we’re going to grandfather in all our past clients. So if you’re a past client, expect an e-mail about that early next year (and if you’ve changed your e-mail, get in touch). I think it’s a great way to keep in touch and keep your favorite Boston wedding photographer top of mind for when someone you know is getting married.
